Autumn term 1
Year 3 have settled into life at St James well, they enjoyed some team building games and playing on the outdoor equipment
We are enjoying our art topic this half term where we are looking at Stone Age cave paintings and trying to recreate them using different media.
Year 3 have been enjoying reading our class novel in the school library 📚
Our year 3 class have been busy making some lovely artwork for Remembrance day 🎨 They have made some pastel pictures and decorated some glass jars, these will be on display at the Roundhouse cafe on Walney from the 4th of November until the 17th of November so make sure you go and see 3B’s fabulous artwork ❤️
Year 3 had Louise from United Utilities come to talk to them about where our water in Cumbria comes from and how we can save water to save money and our environment. It was a very informative session and the children learnt a lot
Looking at 100’s,10’s and 1’s in maths
