The children, staff and governors of St James’ CE Junior School are looking to appoint 2 x Teaching Assistants / Senior Teaching Assistants (grade will be dependent on experience and qualifications) to start September 2025 on a fixed term contract until 31^st August 2026 with the possibility of being extended depending on funding.

Both roles are part-time and consist of working from 8:45am-3:15pm term time only.

You will be working in KS2, supporting children with their learning and emotional needs providing tailored interventions, as required, enabling children to achieve their full learning potential.

The successful candidate will:

• Maintain and ensure high expectations of learning and behaviour
• Maintain the positive ethos and be willing to promote the Christian values of the school
• Have the ability to engage and enthuse all children using a variety of approaches
• Be able to develop excellent relationships with all members of our school community
